BARBERA D’ASTI SUPERIORE

 

Grapes: Barbera 100%, picking manual, in the first few days of October.

Color: Ruby red tending towards burgundy

Bouquet: Characteristic, intense, harmonious

Taste: Delicate, warm, velvety, full-bodied

Food Pairing: Excellent with white truffle dishes, roasts and game.

Serving temperature: 18/20°C,

NEBBIOLO D’ALBA

 

Grapes: Nebbiolo 100%

Color: Ruby red cherry red

Bouquet: Characteristic, fragrant

Taste: Dry, velvety, harmonious, with moderate acidity

Food Pairing: First courses, red and white meat, medium-ripe cheese

Serving temperature: 18/20°C,

ROSSO DEL CAMUL

50% Cabernet  Sauvignon, 50% Pinot Noir, separately aged in Slovenian Oak barrels for 18/24months then blended in bottle and refined for another 6/8 months.

Deep Ruby with violet nuances, scent of cherry and liquorice.

Red meat, Roast beef, Game meat

 Alcohol  content 13.5.

INCROCIO MANZONI RED

 

Created by Prof. Luigi Manzoni between 1924 and 1930 by fertilizing Prosecco vine with the pollen of Cabernet Sauvignon.

Tasting Notes:  Intense violet red  colour.  Well balanced wine, not very tannic with a pleasant , fruity  taste of blackcurrants and raspberries. Food Pairing: Wine  to  drink  throughout  the  meal, excellent with white meat, salami, soft and medium ripe cheese. Alcohol  content 12.

Serving temperature: 16/18°C,

MERLOT DOC PIAVE

 

100% Merlot, vigorous vine. The wine is very full when produced from low yield production (8000/9000 kg of grapes perhectare).

Tasting Notes: Ruby red colour tending to garnet, strong winey aroma with hints of raspberry and cinnamon. It acquires elegance and structure over time.

Food Pairing: Good with tasty dishes such as risotto and meat-filled ravioli.

Excellent with salami, stewed meat, white and red roast meat. Alcohol  content 12.5.
